The meeting was dedicated to discussing Carl Zimmerman’s famous study of cyclical family changes in history, published in the book «Family and Civilization» (1947). The readings were attended by specialists from the Mendeleev Institute of Demographic Policy, the Russian State University for Humanities, St. Tikhon’s Orthodox University for the Humanities, Higher School of Economics, INION RAS and the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies.
