ISA_picThe Third Forum of Sociology “The Futures We Want: Global Sociology and the Struggles for a Better World” of the International Sociological Association (ISA) took place from 10 to 14 of July 2016 at the University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria). On July, 11 Elena Prutskova presented a paper “Factors Influencing the Diversity of Non-Liturgical Activities in Russian Orthodox Church Parishes” (co-authored with Daria Oreshina) at the Round Table “Religious Communities and Civil Society” in a session, organized by Research Committee on Sociology of Religion (RC22) of the International Sociological Association.
The analysis is based on the third wave of the “Orthodox Monitor” (2012 study data).
