
Ivan Pavlyutkin took part in the 15th International Scientific Conference “Sociology of Religion in Late Modern Society: Religion and Meanings,” which is held annually at Belgorod State National Research University. On September 30, he served as a moderator at the section “Orthodox Parishes as Communities: Motivation for Social Service, Resources and Limitations of Extra‑Church Activity,” which was organized jointly with the “Zircon” research group, and also delivered a report titled “The More Children in a Parish, the Fewer Social Projects? Orthodox Parishes as Family Communities.” The report presented the results of an analysis of data from several surveys related to communication among families with children – surveys of large families, Orthodox parishes, and Orthodox schools.
