International workshop on the project «The Paradox of Interrelation between Religion and Family in Modern Russia (Research grant RSF)» (3 October 2019, Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University)

On the 3 of October an international workshop on the project «The Paradox of Interrelation between Religion and Family in Modern Russia (Research grant RSF)» was held at Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University. Sara Mazzucchelli, a researcher at Family Studies and Research University Centre and a lecturer at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, participated in the workshop. Sara Mazzucchelli specializes in research on socio-cultural transformations of family and family relations, work-family balance and social policy.

The workshop was dedicated to the presentation of the initial results of data analysis of a survey of the Russian population, the key aim of which was to test the scales constructed for measuring the ethics of humility and marriage values. A discussion that followed the presentation was focused on the interrelationship between marriage and Christianity in the modern world.
