November 4-5, Tartu (Estonia). Tatiana Krihtova took part in the symposium “Why the world needs anthropologists”

Fellow researcher Tatiana Krihtova participated in the Symposium “Why the world needs anthropologists” held on November 4-5 in the city of Tartu (Estonia).

The symposium was held for the fourth time by the European Association of Social Anthropologists. The main purpose of the event: to acquaint researchers with the main themes of Applied Anthropology and allow for cooperation with each other.

On the first day of the symposium participants gave lectures about the most current trends in applied anthropology: the mobility of expats, economic anthropology, anthropological research in creating of self-managed machines, the study of social networks. On the second day there were workshops for small groups.
