October 21, 2016 at the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service Batanova Polina and Oreshina Daria presented the results of the new wave of the survey on church social workers which passed the special training by Synodal Department in 2015-2016.
Polina and Daria provided data on who and how is engaged in social work of parishes, what social projects are carried out, how financial resourсes are held and so on.
All the managers of Synodal Department headed by Bishop Panteleimon (Shatov) as well as colleagues of “Sociology of religion” attended the meeting and took part at discussion.
The project for the study of church social work started at scientific laboratory in 2010. In 2015 we launched the annual online monitoring of the parish social workers trained by Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service. More information about the project.
