Третий этап проекта

Workshop 1 (11). Social capital – “resource generator”

Participants: Emelyanov N.N., Aleksin K.V., Prutskova E.V., Markin K.V., Zabaev I.V., Melkumyan E.B., Kostrova E.A., Zueva A.V., Krikhtova T.M., Pavlyutkin I.V., Lyubinarskaya N.A., Pronskaya N.A., Goleva M.A., Kalinovskaya P.A.

Date: December 6, 2021

Workshop format: Online, offline

Discussion results:

The seminar discussed several solutions to the factor analysis of the “resource-generator” from the perspective of the “donor” and “recipient”. Solutions from 4 and 5 factors are obtained. A linear regression model was constructed for the dependence of the number of selected items of the “resource generator” on the respondent’s religiosity. The model showed that in order to increase social capital, it is necessary not only to attend religious services (usually the main indicator of religiosity in social studies), but also to reflect on religious issues.

Workshop 2 (12). Motives for church attendance: results of a survey of church-going Orthodox and an all-Russian survey

Participants: Emelyanov N.N., Aleksin K.V., Prutskova E.V., Markin K.V., Zabaev I.V., Melkumyan E.B., Kostrova E.A., Zueva A.V., Krikhtova T.M., Pavlyutkin I.V., Lyubinarskaya N.A., Pronskaya N.A., Goleva M.A.

Date: December 20, 2021

Workshop format: Online, offline

Discussion results:

The seminar discussed the motives for visiting Orthodox churches from 2012 to 2020. In order to involve the population in church social work, it is necessary, among other things, to gain an understanding of the motives for participation in church life in general. Based on the surveys, the dynamics of the motives for attending church was revealed. In particular, for the population as a whole, there is a decrease in the importance of the factor of ethnodoxy (mixing of religious and national identities). For church-going Orthodox, the intellectual factor becomes much more important (comprehension of issues of faith), the emotional factor becomes less important (feeling a fertile atmosphere, consolation), as well as the factors of social service and church attendance by family members and friends.
