9-10 of November a two-day joint research seminar in Comparative Religion of two universities of Turku (Finland) — Abo Akademi and Turku University — took place at University of Turku. Doctoral students from both Abo Akademi and Turku University presented their research plans and papers.
Polina Batanova took part in the seminar as a phd candidate of Abo Akademi and presented her research plan entitled “The Sacred Individual: The Conceptual and Narrative Cultivation of Individuality among Young Adults in Russia, the United States and Finland” The thesis is carried out within the framework of the international research project “Young Adults and Religion in a Global Perspective”.
