Workshop “Family in a Framework of Relational Sociology” with Pierpaolo Donati, Professor of Sociology at the University of Bologna

каверOn 7-9 June there was a workshop “Family in a Framework of Relational Sociology” with Pierpaolo Donati, Professor of Sociology at the University of Bologna, organized by research laboratory “Sociology of Religion”. Pierpaolo Donati is Past-President of the Italian Sociological Association (1995-98); he has served as Director of the National Observatory on the Family (2003-2012) of the Italian Government.

During the seminars P.Donati made an introduction to a theological background of Relational Sociology. Furthermore, there were discussions on the topics of family-oriented social policy and the role of the family. Also there was a presentation by Ivan Pavlyutkin about the initial data analysis of the project “Fertility and social support networks: determinants of large families’ formation”, followed by a discussion.
