5-11 September at the Center for Studies in Civil Society and Non-profit Sector, HSE the fifth annual summer school on the topic “The long-term prospects of the sector of non-governmental non-commercial organizations in Russia: approaches to evaluation and testing“ took place. After the call for proposals, Daria Oreshina and Polina Batanova were selected as participants. In general, there were 29 specialists from different regions of Russia, CIS countries, Britain, Germany and Poland.
The school program included lectures delivered by invited experts on the theoretical, legal, historical and methodological aspects of research of civil society and the third sector. In addition, all participants had the opportunity to present their projects to colleagues within the session of individual presentations. Finally, the third part of the program was a preparation of the collective project in a way of the foresight-methodology, which made it possible not only to learn, but also to test new research skills in teamwork.
At the end of the summer school participants received a certificate of professional development.
