RESEARCH fellows OF SOCIOLOGY OF RELIGION RESEARCH LABORATORY PARTICIPATED IN THE 15TH CONFERENCE OF THE EUROPEAN SOCIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION «SOCIOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGES FOR ALTERNATIVE FUTURES» (31 AUGUST – 3 september 2021, Barcelona, Spain, online)

This conference is one of the largest sociological forums in Europe, it takes place every two years and gathers representatives of different countries and universities, researchers in different fields.

The “Sociology of Religion” research laboratory was represented at the conference by Mariia Goleva and Nina Lubinarskaya. Both of them made presentations on the 1st of September 2021.

Mariia Goleva made a presentation “Transition to Marriage: Newlyweds’ Perspective” on the session “RN13_T02_02: Family Formation and Dissolution I”, prepared within the framework of research-project «How do young families appear and live in modern Russia? Comparison of secular families and priests’ families».

Nina Lubinarskaya participated in a session “RN13_T03_01: Covid-19: Challenges for Families and Family Research III” with a report “Family As A Total Institution: How “I” Transforms In Isolation”, based on the data of the project “Awareness of family life by young couples. Conceptualization and operationalization of categories related to communion in marriage”.
