October 4-5, 2018 VIII International Scientific Conference “Sociology of Religion in Society of Late Modernity: Orthodox accent” took place at Belgorod State University.
On October, 5, researchers of our laboratory presented two papers. Kirill Markin presented a paper “Features of Orthodox religiosity in modern Russia: the impact of criticism of the Church on Orthodox self-identification”.
Elena Melkumyan presented a paper “Religiosity and subjective well-being: survey of 12 Orthodox parishes”. The study is based on the data obtained in the framework of the project “Social support networks in the Orthodox church community”.
Also at the conference, a poster session (infographics) was presented on the results of the project Social Work of Russian Orthodox Church in XXI Century. Project coordinators: Daria Oreshina, Polina Vrublevskaya.
