April, 10-13, 2018 XVIII April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development took place at NRU HSE in Moscow.
On the 10th of April Elena Prutskova and Ivan Zabaev presented a paper «Calling and humility scale: extending Weberian approach to the research of elective affinity between religion and economy» at the session « Religion and Religiosity». The report was prepared within the framework of the «Religion and patterns of social and economic organization» project is supported by the RFH (grant No. 16-23-41006).
At the same day Tatiana Krihtova presented a paper « Hospital chapels as places of meanings crossing» at the session «Sociology of Space and Territorial Politics».
On the 11th of April Elena Melkumyan and Elena Prutskova made a presentation «Economics, pedagogy, theology and humanities: does the specialty influence the basic values of students?» on the session «Mass Views and Values».
Olga Borisova made a report «Some aspects of “involved fatherhood” in the cross-country perspective» on the session «Balance of Family and Work».
On the 13th of April Mariia Goleva participated in the work of the section «Modern Parenthood and Partnership» and presented a paper on «How social networks influence fertility: the case of large families in Russia».
