On the 15th of October, at the Yasnaya Polyana Estate Museum I. V. Pavlyutkin gave a lecture “And they lived happily ever after … until divorced. How to explain the Russian marriage paradox?” The lecture was a part of the series of events “Happy alike”, dedicated to the Tolstoy’s 160th marriage anniversary.
The lecture was based on the results of empirical research conducted within the framework of the research progect “The Paradox of Interrelation between Religion and Family in Modern Russia”, supported by the Russian Science Foundation in a form of a grant (project № 18-78-10089).
