On the 28 – 29 of October 2022, an International conference «Youth between Past and Future: Transitions, Generations, Engagements» of the Centre for Youth Studies was held at NRU HSE in St. Petersburg.
Participants of the project «Awareness of family life by young couples. Conceptualization and operationalization of categories related to communion in marriage» (supported by Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University and the Active Tradition Foundation), Nina Lubinarskaya and Mariia Goleva, took part in the conference and presented reports at the section «Family and Parenthood». Nina’s presentation was dedicated to the topic «Self-sacrificing behavior in the family: analysis of the interviews with religious and non-religious families». Mariia made a report «Not only spouses, but also parents: how do young parents percept new roles and relationships in the family».
