18-20 April 2019 the international conference ”Religion and Communication” took place at Belarus State University in Minsk. Researchers of laboratory Vrublevskaya Polina, Melkumyan Elena and Prutskova Elena participated in panels for Phenomenology and Sociology of Religion. Vrublevskaya Polina presented a paper “Towards studies of sacred in modern world”, Melkumyan Elena delivered on a topic of “Well-being and communicative aspect of religiosity: on data from the “Parish social network” project” and Prutskova’s Elena presentation is on “Communicative aspect of parishioners’ religiosity in four christian denominations in Russia”. All the papers relate to the project ““The Invisible Religion” by T. Lukman: the origins of the concept and the possibility of using it for the analysis of contemporary Russian Orthodoxy” in 2018-2020.
